About UK Hallmarks

All of our original new pieces of hand-crafted jewellery have full UK hallmarks, as per British law. The first ‘Assay Office’ (the name given to the place where jewellery is hallmarked) was founded at Goldsmith’s Hall in roughly the year 1300! There are five of these Assay offices operating today, and our new jewellery is hallmarked exclusively in London.  For details of hallmarks used in our vintage collection, please refer to the specific item listing.
